No Data Centers in Bucks County, PA
In June 2025 Amazon announced plans to invest at least $20 billion in Pennsylvania, with one of the first two data centers slated to be constructed in Falls Township, an 1,800-acre property formerly owned by U.S. Steel. The facility has been placed on Gov. Josh Shapiro's PA Permit Fast Track Program, an executive order designed to accelerate permitting for "high-impact economic development and infrastructure projects."
Less than a month later, U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick announced more than $90 billion in private investments for AI and energy-related projects across the state. At least 23 hyperscale data center proposals are now pending in Pennsylvania.
